It all started with EXPO

As someone who has been in the advertising and exhibition industry since 2002, I would like to use this website blog to express my personal doubts about the effectiveness of and confidence in offline exhibitions these days.

The first exhibition was the World's Fair held in 1851 at the Crystal Palace in London, England, which continues to this day. Every step of development and growth throughout the industrial era and the Internet era cannot be separated from the promotion of exhibitions.

Because trade show is a platform for communication, and the progress of human civilization cannot be separated from cultural and technological exchanges.

What is a trade show?

A trade show is an event held to bring members of an industry together to display, demonstrate and discuss their latest products and services.

Large trade shows are usually held at convention centers in major cities and last several days.

Some local trade shows may also be held at local arenas or hotels, allowing businesses in the area to connect with potential customers.

Because their purpose is to bring members of the trade - or industry - together, most trade shows, which may also be called trade fairs or expos, allow only members of the industry to attend.

Of course there are consumer goods and entertainment industry trade shows that are still open to the entire public, such as auto shows, book fairs, travel and gaming shows, etc.

So,Whether it's In Person or virtual event, to the latest hybrid event strategy, it's all about the trade show

Virtual trade shows are an offshoot of the digital internet in the trade show space, it's just that this epidemic has accelerated its growth, but it still has a long way to go, just like the combined online and offline marketing thinking we often talk about, which is really the same thing

Finally, I would like to emphasize that everyone needs to communicate. Let us join hands and try to bring our offline exhibition back to the level of the state before the epidemic, and we are still willing to make our communication more comprehensive and smooth with the assistance of virtual exhibition.
